An Update

Hi Folks! My apologies for the delinquent updating of the blog....I'm just in the middle of the move to Halifax, 12hrs until we hit the road! I have butterflies I'm so excited and nervous! (excited to see Dave, nervous for the cats, they HATE the car and this will be 4 hours of torture!)

The Whimsy shop will remain open and active, just keep in mind that I may not be able to ship anything out until next week... I don't even know where the closest post office is to Dave's! This should be interesting! LOL

I'm keeping the contest (below) open until I'm settled into the house and have the button making shop organized and sorted (Nov 10th-ish I hope), so keep posting the links to your Whimsy creations!

New Whimsy Products and Offerings!

Hi Whimsy Folks!

I'm thrilled to begin offering something a bit different in the Whimsy shop....Whimsy Samplers! I've grouped several combos of Buttons and embellies and they now have their own little location in the shop. What a great way to get to know the MLBOW products!
Here are a few new pins'n things I've been working on this week *instead* of packing and getting ready for the move LOL

October DT Reveal and Whimsy Pin Winner!

Things are a bit crazy over here.... I've been getting ready for the big move to Halifax (Oct 30 ish) so lots of painting crazy colored walls, carpet cleaning, integrating Dave's fabulous feline with my bunch of kitty Hooligans, packing, sorting, recycling, donating and throwing out! What could have possibly made any of this more difficult??? No car!!! That's right! I had a bit of an accident (I'm ok) on my way back from Halifax on Monday and the car has been in the shop ever since! I finally have my rental, but wow....I really didn't like not being able to go anywhere for 3 days! Difficult to believe that I actually used to live my life like that until I got my licence at the age of 26! LOL

Now....enough of the life drama...tee hee I try and keep this blog for the shop updates etc only, and my personal Blog for the other stuff, but I just had to share!

Mushroom Winner!!!!

Hi Folks,

I have to give Whimsy DT member Tanya Lamo a shout out today...I was so proud of her!!! A couple of her amazing layouts were featured on the Sassafras Blog yesterday! How cool is that? Yay Tanya!

I'm enjoying the Whimsy anniversary very much! Seems unreal that its been a year already and I'm still learning so much LOL
