Introducing the New MLBOW DT!!!!!

Thanks again for all those who took the time to apply, this was such a difficult decision! I have kept all of your entries on file, and should I decide to add a guest designer in the new year, I will be in touch! In the meantime, please keep an eye out for a special thank you email in the next couple of days :)

Without further delay, here is the Jan-June 2010 MLBOW DT! I'm soooo thrilled to have these two very special and super talented ladies on this journey for the next six months!

Frances Sylvia

Bio:
Helllooo My Little Bit of Whimsy fans! My name is Frances Sylvia and I am from Many, Louisiana, a small, Southern town nestled amongst the pine trees. By day, I am a Junior High English teacher, and by night, I am a lucky wife of 8 years, mother of 4, and a totally addicted scrapbooker. Though my greatest inspiration comes from my family and friends in the photos, I usually begin a layout by searching for inspiration via the internet. That usually means finding a cool sketch, a new, interesting challenge, or a handmade technique to incorporate into my layout.

I truly believe that I do not have a set style, yet there are some elements I cannot leave off a layout these days, such as, hand or machine stitching, buttons, doodling, distressing, and layering. Since my time is mostly devoted to being a wife and mother, I believe that scrapbooking should be FUN!! I like to think that I am funny and my sense of humor usually ends up spilling over on to my layouts.

I have been a longtime follower and lover of My Little Bit of Whimsy and I am super excited to be on the MLBOW Design Team…thanks Stephanie!

Kathleen Glossop

Bio:
I’m a SAHM to Clay (2 ½), wifey to Jason, and have been scrapping for over 4 years (more seriously since Clay was born). I’m a scrapping nut, and can’t get by without doing something creative each day – blog/forum hopping at the very least, but usually I’ll nab in an hour or so while Clay sleeps. I’d describe my style as freestyle, I like to have fun with my pages (my fav pages always involve me getting messy!), I love bold bright colors, white space, doodling and have been going through a machine stitching phase lately…! I LOVE putting something that little bit different, a little quirky, onto my pages, so needless to say, when I found Steph’s creations I was hooked!! My page could be looking completely unfinished, pop on a bit of Whimsy and voila!!! I’m very excited to have this opportunity, thanks so much Steph!

Welcome Ladies! I am sending out their DT packages this week, and cannot wait to see what they create with their Whimsies next month! Stay tuned on January 15th for their first reveal.

Cheers,
Steph
