Guest Designer Kristine Davidson and a Giveaway!!!

Good morning!
I am thrilled to have Kristine Davidson work with my Whimsies....not only because she is my bestie and the biggest supporter of MLBOW  (There would be no MLBOW if it weren't for her mad shop/blog skills!)...but I sincerely adore her scrapbooking style.  When we crop together, I just love watching her come up with her layouts... Kristine has impeccable taste, an eye for design and her attention to detail always blows me away!

Whimsy Sketch Winner!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

We are back from our honeymoon and oh what a fantastic vacation it was!! If you ever get the opportunity to visit Jamaica, do it!  What a beautiful island! Dave and I swam with dolphins (can you say bucket list!), relaxed on the beach and had fabulous food!  It was paradise!  Keep an eye out on my personal Blog for photos :)

Now onto our Whimsy Sketch Contest!!!  We had many of participants this time around Yay!!!  Thank you so much for participating, I've added all of the photos that were linked (except for a couple that had copyright protection, but don't worry, they were still included in the contest!)

Blinkie Winner and a Sketch contest!

Thanks to everyone who have been participating in our month-long Whimsy Contests!!!  Hoping to keep you all entertained while we celebrate our wedding :)  Last Saturday was amazing, we could not have asked for a more perfect day!  As soon as I have photos to share...don't worry, they will be posted here, on Facebook, personal blog...etc.  I'm really trying my best not to drive Liam crazy over at Applehead Studios with "Are they ready yet?" emails LOL

  So back to our program!!!  The Blinky winner from last week is Kathy Skou!! Yay!  K, I have your addy, will ship your Whimsies this week :)

Thanks all for your comments!  I think the consensus is to stick them into embellie clusters....and some of you actually use a bit of liquid adhesive to keep it in place (Which I never thought of!)

September Whimsy Shop Update

Hi Folks!
Wow!  Has this month just flown by!  I can't believe we are already 3 months from Christmas!  Yikes!

Things have been busy in the Whimsy Shop this month.   I have a few new designs uploaded already, and a few more on the way!  Here are some of the items I've added to the shop today...New sampler packs, new clouds and a couple of new bird pins! 

I'm just loving this new Wasabi Green, just what I needed to jump start my Whimsy Mojo!  Here is a layout I made last weekend using one of my Wasabi Green birds :)  I attached it to the page with some super cute Hambly washi tape!

Whimsy Sketch Winners!!!

My apologies for not posting when I said I would, the jet lag from our vacation really took its toll on me!  We arrived from London Thursday evening, and I swear I didn't want to do a single thing all weekend!  I had just enough energy to get some laundry done, and that was only because I really wanted my favorite jeans and TShirt haha  I haven't even uploaded our photos of the trip yet!  If you are interested, the highlights should be up on my personal blog in the next day or so  www.stephanie-hart.blogspot.com 

Now for the Whimsy Sketch Winners!  There are only three lovely entries for this sketch... I imagine everyone is too busy enjoying their summer vacations!  I myself wanted to scrapbook this sketch along with you, but alas, the kitchen reno and vacation were too distracting and I haven't been able to pick up my scissors and paper is quite some time!  Hoping that will change this weekend though ;)

Whimsy Sighting! ~ Kristine Davidson ~ and a Contest

OK, so I know I didn't have to look very far for this sighting considering Kristine is my very best scrappy friends....but I just had to share her work on the Whimsy blog!

Don't you just love all her little details?  The ink splatters, tiny stitching and design placement just blows me away everytime!

These last couple of months have been busy ones with the holiday season, however I'm hoping to get back into the regular blogging schedule for 2011.  I'm thinking maybe a studio share next week is in order, as many of you often ask about where I do my Whimsy work!

Whimsy Winners!!!

Wow Wow Wow

Thank you all for participating in this vacation contest...Your support and sweet comments about the Whimsy shop were phenomenal and unexpected! I feel so fortunate everyday to share my little creations with you, again, thank you for joining me on my little adventure!

There were well over 65 people who participated, so that was LOTS of ballots to be entered into the draw! We surpassed the 700 FB follower mark, so there will be TWO Whimsy prizes to give away (yay!) I decided to go "old school", and actually took the time to look at each entry, count out the votes, print them, cut them and then draw two names.

How About a Challenge?

Hey there MLBOW fans! It's me, Frances...the MLBOW Design Team Frances!!! I was soooo super excited that Stephanie gave me the opportunity to have some fun with you this month. Since I am out of school for the summer, I have been a busy bee. And I just thought that I would let you in on my fun! So again I ask, "How About a Challenge?"

Amazing Whimsy Sighting and a Blinkie Winner!

Check out this AMAZING apron made by Larissa! Can you spot the Whimsy bird pins!?! (please visit her blog for closeups!) I love Larissa's work and have been following her blog for some time, she does amazing work!
