Whimsy Shop Update!

Its been a bit of a whirlwind around here in between my day job, house renos, a crop out of province last weekend and then an all weekend lampwork glass beading class that I just finished today!  Whew!  I'm exhausted just thinking about it all!  Let's hope things quiet down for a few weeks so I can recharge my batteries and get ready for Christmas.

 I did manage to get some Whimsy time in-between all of this, and have just uploaded a few items to the shop tonight.  The Whimsy car pins are already sold out, however I plan on making a few more sets this week so stay tuned!  (with more colors!)

September Whimsy Shop Update

Hi Folks!
Wow!  Has this month just flown by!  I can't believe we are already 3 months from Christmas!  Yikes!

Things have been busy in the Whimsy Shop this month.   I have a few new designs uploaded already, and a few more on the way!  Here are some of the items I've added to the shop today...New sampler packs, new clouds and a couple of new bird pins! 

I'm just loving this new Wasabi Green, just what I needed to jump start my Whimsy Mojo!  Here is a layout I made last weekend using one of my Wasabi Green birds :)  I attached it to the page with some super cute Hambly washi tape!

Whimsy Shop Summer Update!

Well hello there strangers! Its been quite some time since I last posted on the Whimsy Blog! My apologies, it was not my intention to neglect you all!  Our house has been undergoing renovations for a couple of months now, and it really is all consuming!  One of the areas was my crafty space, and I'm just now feeling like everything is where is should be etc  I don't know about you, but if my scrappy/Whimsy space is unorganized, my creative mojo is nowhere to be found!

I'm back on track now, and here is what I've been working on the last few weeks!  You will notice some new Sampler packs, new Textured Clouds, new Mushrooms, new Bird Pins and I finally made a number of these little Whimsy Rockets!  They are flying off the shelves though, so get yours while they are still available :)

Many of you have asked me for Whimsy Fish, and here are the first batch of colors, I'm hoping to have a variety of colors by August.

Happy Holidays and some New Year Whimsy Sneaks!

Wishing all of you a lovely Christmas holiday and wonderful New Year!  Thanks to all of you who have helped make 2010 so much fun...I can't wait to kick off 2011 with my Sweetie and a bit of bubbly!

My Little Blog Hiatus!

Wow! I really didn't intend to neglect the Whimsy Blog for this long :)  Its not like I haven't been making new Whimsies or shipping out orders almost every day these last few weeks!  I picked up my new computer last week, and I think tonight is the first night I can actually say that I feel the set up/transfer/download etc is "done"....phewww!  I didn't realize how many accounts and devices I have connected to my home computer or that I really had THAT MANY photos on my harddrive hehehe

Here are a few Whimsy News items that I've been meaning to post about for the last couple of weeks!  First off, kits clubs!  MLBOW was featured in two kit clubs this month, one in the US and the other in Sweden!

Lilo from Molly's Scrapbooking contacted me about making some Halloween pins for her kit club...and after 100 bats and 100 pumpkins, I'm Halloweened out!  Here is a photo of the kit:

Aphra's lovely Kit Club The Paper Poppy also requested some cute Whimsy Owl Pins for her November Kit: 

And I've seen this kit in person, can you say "Jam Packed" full of Scrappy yummies??  I can't wait to play!

Aphra's already had a chance to play with her kit, and check out what she's made!  Lovely!

There are a few new Bird Embellies in the Whimsy Shop tonight, as well as restocked: Duck Pins, Bumble Bee Pins, Christmas Pins and Apple Pins!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I had a lovely pre-Birthday visit with my parents...they bought me a Big Shot!  yay!  My smaller diecut machine died a couple of weeks ago, and so this was perfect timing!  As many of you who have purchased my Whimsy pins have noticed, I diecut the fabric that I stick my pins into...so the CuttleBug outage really put a damper on the packaging around here.

Whimsy Duckies!

Just a quick post to show you the new Whimsies in the shop! These are too cute! A bit longer than my other pins, I had to order them extra long (2½ inches) so I could fit the entire duck ;)

Autumn Whimsies!

Hi Folks,
here is the latest from the Whimsy shop! Hope you like them :)


After making over 100 Bat and Pumpkin pins for a kit club overseas...I think I'm all "Halloweened" out and its not even October yet! They were so much fun to make, really got me in the mood for this beautiful fall season.

***Also added more Textured Cloud buttons for those of you who have been waiting for them :)

I'm staying in town this week, so hopefully more time to scrap and make whimsies.

Whimsy Shop Update!

Hi Whimsy Folks!
Here are the new buttons I've been working on this week, I hope you like them! Lots of textured buttons, a new bird embellie and a new cloud design :) They can all be found HERE

I'm not certain why my photos are darker this go round, I'm still getting used to my new lightbox set up and camera lens...hoping to get it all corrected soon as I much prefer to have consistent photos in the shop!

And a few restocked items! I've had lots of requests for these two sets, so I was thrilled to make a few more (these colors just make me HAPPY!)

New Items in the Whimsy Shop!

Hi folks!
Here are a few items I've uploaded in the shop this week, and I still have at least another night of photo taking and posting left :)

Look at my new toy....Pentax Macro Lens 100mm I've been having so much fun with it! Taking my Whimsy photos is sooo much easier now! I've always wanted one to play around with, so the Whimsy *excuse* was a good fit hehe

I can't wait for the next nice calm day (when it isn't raining!!!) and I can go out to take some nature shots. I attempted a few of our tiger lilies but it was so windy, one slight movement and the shot is out of focus (tripod is a must)

Hope you like some of the new goodies!
